Heather Lockwood began her professional career as a dancer at Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland. In recent years, she has transitioned to visual arts and is the award-winning owner of Lockwood Creation Studio. Heather found a love for exploring what is possible when you expose kids to art as a Waldorf and Montessori art teacher. She works in a myriad of mediums in her teaching, exploring creativity through painting, sculpting, clothing design and mixed media. Heather’s work has been featured on the walls of the Orlando Museum of Art, SOBO Art Gallery in Winter Garden, Florida, Dayton Society of Artists, Fairytale Village in Alpharetta, Georgia and The Arts Nest in Huntington, NY. She was named “Best Art Experience” by ArtFest in 2017, recognizing not only her artistic work, but her teaching style as well.
